THE KETTLE milk boiler

The transparent milk jug The Kettle, designed by Lara Caffi, is an object with an unmistakable style that can also be used as a milk jug for table service.
The Kettle is made of borosilicate glass with a steel handle.

IMPORTANT: when using The Kettle for the first time, we recommend testing it by boiling a little milk or water; the milk boiler may be subject to knocks, even involuntary ones, during various uses, so it should be tested each time it is used, with a little milk or water and then proceed to the final addition; always check before use that there are no breakages; if you notice cracks on the milk boiler while cooking, immediately turn off the heat source and do not remove the milk boiler from the hob until the milk or water has cooled down • the glass is not chemically reactive, so it can be used to boil any type of food, without worrying about the level of acidity or other reactive properties of different foods • always add salt when cold • do not use metal utensils, only plastic or wooden ones • avoid impacts or pressure on the body of the milk boiler and on the handle • avoid strong temperature variations, the temperature must rise and fall gradually • the handle is fixed with steel screws: check that they are well tightened after each use • do not use abrasive powders and/or scouring pads to wash The Kettle; it is sufficient to use hot water and a soft sponge with a minimal amount of neutral detergent • washing in the dishwasher is permitted by preferably using low temperature cycles (50° or ECO) • store the milk pot with care • glass is fragile and although borosilicate is more resistant it must be treated with extreme caution • on GAS: always use a flame spreader such as the knIndustrie universal adapter • on INDUCTION: use the knIndustrie universal adapter • keep children away while using the milk pot.
