SOSPIRO tavern glass

The Sospiro Blueside is a cute little glass in blown glass; a different way to serve wine, spirits of all kinds, or simply a good moka coffee, offering us another dip into the past.

Modern interpretation of the tavern "Sospiro", introduced in Rome by Pope Sixtus X at the end of the 19th century, from the same family as the Fojetta (typical tavern carafe of ½ litre) and the Quartino (¼ litre). "Sospiro", due to its small size (tenth of a litre) generated shame in the patrons of the taverns of the time who did not have enough money to drink more.
